Structural Modification

Structural Modification is the process of re-engineering the structure of a building in order to accommodate a proposed change, to correct structural damage or a structural defect.  Within the demolition industry Structural Modification is often referred to as “Cut and Carve”. Structural Modifications often involve the relocation of load bearing elevations which is a detailed and technical process in order to remove load bearing elevations and sufficiently propping the building to ensure a collapse doesn’t occur.
